What happens to your details.

The website only asks for personal details in the enquiry form. It sets no cookies and has no analytics or advertising trackers.

Who is responsible: Africa Glamping Proprietary Limited, which trades as Elo Villas. Plot 524, Mophane, Mophane Avenue, Maun, Botswana. Write to reservations@elovillas.com.
What the form collects: Your name and email address, which are needed to reply. If you give them, your phone number, your country of residence, when you would like to come, the number of nights, the guests and your message. A travel advisor can add the agency and an IATA or association number. The form also notes whether you write as a traveller or as a travel advisor, and the language of the page.
What it is used for: To reply to your enquiry, which is what the box you tick before sending agrees to.
Where it goes: When you send the form, your details are sent by email, through Resend, to the address that receives enquiries for Elo Villas. They are also saved in the Elo Villas database, hosted by Supabase. Only Elo Villas administrators can see them. To stop the form being misused, a coded version of your IP address is kept for at least an hour after you send the form, and deleted the next time anyone sends it once that hour has passed.
Hosting and fonts: The website is hosted by Vercel. As with any website, its servers receive technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, in order to deliver the pages. The typefaces are served from the website itself. Vercel, Resend and Supabase may process data outside Botswana.
In your browser: The website keeps a note of whether you have turned the sound off, in your browser's local storage, until you clear it. For the length of the visit it also notes whether the opening has already played and whether the page has just reloaded after an update. These notes stay on your device and are not sent anywhere.
Your rights: You can ask to see, correct or delete your details by writing to reservations@elovillas.com.
Changes: If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page. Who runs the website is set out in the legal notice.
