02The Delta

The architecture of water.

A private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta, a setting defined by space, silence and extraordinary natural movement. At its peak the flood reaches fifteen thousand square kilometres: the largest inland delta in the world, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The flood arrives in winter, from the highlands of Angola.

03Wildlife

Water brings everything to the same edge.

Game drives move through open floodplains where wildlife roams freely across the horizon. Lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, hippo, red lechwe, and birdlife that floods the channels at dawn.

Elo is home to the African wild dog. Fewer than 1,500 adults remain in the wild, and several packs live within this concession.

05The villa

Modern, architectural and deliberate.

Shaped by the elemental rhythm of water, fire, heat and horizon. Conceived as a collection of individual homes, each villa exists as its own world. Architecture, materials and light were chosen deliberately, so the wilderness remains the focal point. Four villas for two, of around 530 square metres each, and two for those who travel together. Each has its own dedicated host.
